Last chance to register for the 7th edition of UNEATLANTICO’s Pan-American Pre-University Debate League

The Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) is organising the 7th Pan-American Pre-University Debate League, which will take place from 13 April to 11 May. Schools from Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, the Dominican Republic and Venezuela will be taking part.

As in previous years, a national league will first be held in each country. This year’s topic will be ‘Should emotional intelligence be a compulsory subject at universities?’ The winning teams will have the opportunity to represent their country at the 7th Pan-American Debate League.

In the international round, the topic will be “Does unrestricted immigration strengthen or weaken a nation?”, and the winning team, the runner-up and the best speaker will receive prizes from UNEATLANTICO. Those interested in taking part can find further information via this link.

The organising committee of the UNEATLANTICO Debate League wishes all teams the best of luck in this edition and hopes that the experience will be beneficial for all participating students.
