Isabel Diego, teacher at UNEATLANTICO, participates in the organisation of the 12 months, 12 emotions project

Isabel Diego, lecturer in the area of Psychology at the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO), is part of the organising committee of the project ‘12 months, 12 emotions’ promoted by the Official College of Psychology of Cantabria (COP) and the City Council of Santander.

This project has been carried out in the Tabacalera Civic Centre in Santander, where during the months of January to December different activities related to mental health were organised. These included monthly thematic conferences given by specialists in the sector. Its main objective is to provide the citizens of Santander and Cantabria with tools that they can use in their daily lives and thus ensure that people maintain greater emotional wellbeing.

Eight talks have already taken place, each one named after an emotion: acceptance, discouragement, insecurity, overcoming, astonishment, illusion, disappointment and courage. For the last months of the year, the Official College of Psychology of Cantabria invites the university community to attend talks on pride, confusion, determination and gratitude.

The activities are not only limited to talks, but also include rounds of questions and contact with the audience, allowing the public to share their doubts and better understand the topic to be discussed, thus fostering an atmosphere of reflection and personal growth.
