Institutional Conference between the FUNIBER Chair of Iberoamerican Studies and Iberophony and the Equatoguinean Academy of the Spanish Language

The professor of UNEATLANTICO and director of Institutional Relations of the Ibero-American University Foundation (FUNIBER) and the Chair of Ibero-American Studies and Iberophony, Dr. F. Álvaro Durántez Prados, and the representative and academician of the Equatoguinean Academy of the Spanish Language (AEGLE), Dr. Fernando Ignacio Ondo, held an institutional and working day in the province of Guadalajara, Spain.


A week after the signing in Santander of the quadripartite agreement between FUNIBER, the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO), the International Graduate Center of Equatorial Guinea “Veronica Eyang” (CIPVE) and the Equatoguinean Academy of the Spanish Language (AEGLE), and the signing of the Specific Agreement between FUNIBER and the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO), and the signing of the Specific Scholarship Agreement between FUNIBER and CIPVE, met in the Castilian village of Almonacid de Zorita, at the headquarters of the Instituto Durántez de Altomira, Dr. Ondo and Dr. Durán Durán met in the Spanish village of Almonacid de Zorita, at the headquarters of the Instituto Durántez de Altomira. Ondo and Dr. Durántez to plan and deepen the relationship between the signatories of the agreement concluded in the capital of Cantabria.

In particular, they addressed issues related to the upcoming implementation in the capital of the Continental Region of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, the city of Bata, of a FUNIBER Delegation, in which UNEATLANTICO will be represented, from where it can contribute to directly manage and promote the undergraduate, postgraduate, master’s and doctoral scholarship programs offered by the Ibero-American University Foundation to the Equatoguinean society through the collaboration agreed with CIPVE and AEGLE.

During their meeting, Dr. Durántez and Dr. Ondo held a telematic meeting with the President of FUNIBER, Dr. Santos Gracia Villar, in which specific guidelines were established to guarantee the speed and effectiveness in the implementation of the agreements signed.
