The professor of the area of Audiovisual Communication (CA) of the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO), Ignacio Gutiérrez-Solana, has attended the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFFF), or International Film Festival in the city of Brussels for its 42nd edition, which took place from April 9 to 21.
Ignacio Gutiérrez-Solana presented his film “La Criatura”. Gutiérrez-Solana has directed and produced this project. Ignacio describes his project as follows: “It is a horror story about fatherhood. We were in the Work in Progress section, and that allowed us to pitch the film and then hold meetings with the main sales agencies specializing in fantastic cinema in the world, as well as European production companies”.
The UNEATLANTICO teacher adds that he enjoyed the festival not because of the film and the rest of the short films and projects presented, but because he took the opportunity to carry out the necessary process to bring his own creation to life: his first feature film.
