NEWS RELEASE
Santander, June 9, 2015
European University of the Atlantic is open 24/7 all year long thanks to a virtual tour around its classrooms, offices and labs, without going to its campus in Santander. This service—Business View, marketed by the private company Google—offers 360º panoramic views of the campus.
Prospective students will be able to “walk” down the halls of the academic institution even before going there in person to ask for information. Moreover, this interactive visit not only lets users discover different rooms inside the university, but it also provides additional information through an interactive system of links and pull-down menus.
In just one click, users can contact the Academic Secretary’s office or request additional information about any of the official degrees taught in Santander. Any user interested in trying out this free service, could follow these links:
Once inside, moving around is very easy. There is a menu on the left side displaying the rooms that can be visited at UNEATLANTICO. The user can move down the halls like any other student with an orientation-arrow system, similar to that used by Street View.
Potential students and their families can know (quickly and from the comfort of their own homes) the different laboratories, the library, computer rooms or the TV set, where students gain experience by practicing what they learn. We could say that the university starts a new open-doors service 24/7 all year long.
