Juan Luis Martín, Vice-Chancellor for Research and Knowledge Transfer and Director of the Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Psychology (PSI) at the Universida Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), together with Vanesa Gancedo, head of the University Business Centre (CEMU), have presented for the eighth consecutive year the Master’s Degree in General Health Psychology to new students who will continue their postgraduate training.
This degree is an essential requirement for access to the qualified healthcare profession, which is regulated and stipulated by Law 33/2011, on Public Health, published in the Official State Gazette on 5 October 2011.
The degree offered by the Faculty of Health Sciences at UNEATLANTICO provides students with a unique opportunity to take their knowledge and learning to the highest level, with external internships in authorised health centres. In addition, each student will be assigned a tutor from the university itself and from the health centre, from where they will carry out their internships with fully personalised monitoring for the student.
During the presentation, the head of the UNEATLANTICO University Business Centre welcomed the master’s students and explained how the curricular and extracurricular internships work, which all students can apply for throughout the course.
