The Gastronomy degree at the Universidad Europea Del Atlántico (UNEATLANTICO) is proud to announce that chef Óscar Calleja will be teaching on the degree next year. He will bring a variety of innovative proposals and techniques to the classroom.
Óscar Calleja has a long career at the highest level. Throughout his career, Calleja has achieved 3 Michelin stars (2 in Annua and 1 in Ment) and 3 Repsol Suns. Likewise, Óscar Calleja defines his gastronomic style as modern, fusion cuisine that is at the same time contemporary, sophisticated, elegant and subtle. In addition, Calleja brings with him a diverse and creative culinary proposal, as his cuisine is a subtle blend of experiences. Óscar spent his childhood in Mexico, his adulthood in Cantabria and in addition to this he has been able to travel to more Asian countries (China, Philippines, Japan, Thailand and Vietnam) researching and delving into their gastronomy.
For the Degree in Gastronomy, the chef will teach the subject of Vanguard Techniques in Gastronomy, in which he will be able to transmit his passion and knowledge to the future chefs who will be the first graduating class of Gastronomy Graduates in Cantabria.
