Charo García, president of Club Balonmano Pereda gave an overall assessment of the season for the women’s team, which for the ninth consecutive year has a collaboration agreement with the Universidad Europea del Atlantico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO).
The president stated that the season was very positive, highlighting that several of the objectives set at the beginning were met, including ensuring the permanence in the category with four games to go until the end of the league.
In relation to the youth team, García underlined the good work that is being done. Both youth teams finished as leaders in their respective leagues, which demonstrates the good functioning of the club and the solidity of the training project. That is why, he affirms, it is necessary to continue along these lines in order to achieve the goals the club has in mind.
Looking ahead to next season, the president said that one of the main objectives will be to reinforce the squad, either with new signings or by incorporating players from the youth academy, trained within the club itself. In the medium and long term, the aim is also to continue to move up a category and consolidate the progression of the team’s grassroots work.
With this assessment, Charo García reaffirms the commitment of Club Balonmano Pereda to sporting and training development, consolidating a structure that looks to the future with ambition and stability. The combination of experience and youth, together with the support of UNEATLANTICO, will continue to be the basis on which the club builds its next successes.
