Ana Visiers, academic director of the degrees in Audiovisual Communication (CA), Journalism (PER) and Advertising and Public Relations (PRP) of the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO), recently participated in the Ordinary General Assembly of the Association of Universities with Degrees in Information and Communication (ATIC). This important meeting took place at the University of Murcia, bringing together representatives of academic institutions from all over Spain to discuss and plan activities related to teaching and research in communication.
It is important to underline that this is the second consecutive occasion that Visiers represents UNEATLANTICO in the assembly, after the incorporation of UNEATLANTICO to ATIC in November last year. This participation reaffirms the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and the development of communication sciences, an area in constant evolution and of growing relevance in today’s society.
During the assembly, ATIC members discussed a wide range of topics, including the events planned for the coming months, including the 6th Training and Employment Conference, which promises to be a crucial meeting point.
The day concluded with the presentation of the ATIC Awards, which recognise the best doctoral theses and master’s theses in communication research. This recognition reinforces the impact of the universities that form part of the Association of Universities with Degrees in Information and Communication in the advancement of knowledge in the field of communication.
