Ainhoa Bores, lecturer at the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO) publishes two research articles in the Acta Kinesiológica Journal (AK) Journal of Functional Morphology and Kinesiology (JFMK). Both articles are part of the thesis of Hector Gadea Uribarri, current physical trainer of the futsal club of First Division of the National League WANAPIX AD Sala 10, and also lecturer in the Master in Sports Performance: Training and Functional Assessment of UNEATLANTICO.
Besides that, the development of the article was in collaboration with the director of the degree in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences (CAFYD), Dr. Carlos Lago Fuente. The first article, entitled Validity of a new tracking device for futsal match, focused on analyzing a new device that allows measuring different actions in real futsal game situations. The new device (OLIVER) was compared with an already validated device (WIMU) in order to confirm the validity of OLIVER. The study was carried out with the participation of 10 players from a First Division team of the Spanish Indoor Football League, who played in a 4v4 game.

The second article entitled External Load Evaluation in Elite Futsal: Influence of Match Results and Game Location with IMU Technology, focused on evaluating the external load demands in futsal, considering both home and away matches and their results, in order to plan the microcycles of the season based on the external load of each match. Again, 10 players from a First Division team of the Spanish Indoor Football League participated and their external load was recorded over 15 official matches.
