Foreign students, which represent the different countries of origin in the European University of the Atlantic community, have featured a video in which they explains the institution and encourage other students to join the University, by emphasizing its international nature.

The video has been shot in both University campus and in some Santander locations; it tries to display the city beauty, safety, student environment or the beaches.

Boys and girls from Mexico, Ecuador, Dominican Republic, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Equatorial Guinea, Colombia, China, Peru and Gabon explain in general the international vocation of the institution, which has more than one hundred foreign students, as well as teachers and professors from other countries.

All of that helps to create a cosmopolitan and intercultural environment that considerably enhances the study process and encourages the exchange of ideas in a globalized world, which will be the workplace of these students.

The European University of the Atlantic work methodology not only take into account knowledge and professional expertise acquisition, but it is also focused upon an integrated and inclusive vision which takes into an account an international working context.

On September 2015, the opening date of the European University of the Atlantic, there were twenty four foreign students, but this number increased drastically at the beginning of the 2016/17 academic year, soon to be increased at the beginning of the second quarter in February.

The rector Ruben Calderón stated: “It is a great number, but I hope it to keep growing the following years. Our objective is to reach a 20% of international students when the University is fully operational”.
