Partners of the European project Erasmus + Digital TA (2022-25) hold a new meeting.

Partners of the European project Erasmus + Digital TA (2022-25), led by the European University of the Atlantic with the collaboration of several European academic institutions, have held a new meeting.

The virtual meeting was attended by representatives of UNEATLANTICO, the Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER), the University of Limerick (Ireland), the AP Hogeschool Antwerpen (Belgium), Uniwersytet Jana Kochanowskiego w Kielcach (Poland), the Center for Teacher Training in Segovia (Spain) and the Univerzita Palackého v Olomouci in Olomouc (Czech Republic).
During the online meeting, members discussed the approval of a new logo, plans for the design of the website and internal policies regarding the dissemination plan, including the use of key words and phrases.

It is worth remembering that the Digital TA project was selected by the European Executive Agency for Education and Culture (EACEA) in Brussels as one of the eleven best projects for 2021, from a list of more than 50.

This is the only project of its kind led by a Spanish university, which seeks to respond the European concern for improving the quality of teachers and professors throughout the community through initiatives such as this project. The project enables collaboration and relationships between different institutions and countries, providing feedback to create a digital environment in which future and novice teachers, and the experienced professionals who mentor them, can improve their skills based on shared experiences.

The first meeting was held in August of this year. The first face-to-face meeting between the partners took place on the campus of the European University of the Atlantic in late September. The meeting led to a lecture held in the auditorium on teacher transition, attended by students from the Primary Education degree in which the partners shared their knowledge and experiences.

Lastly, it is worth noting that several project partners held a meeting to discuss a webinar last September focused on the importance of improving teacher training and the quality of education.
