The European University of the Atlantic has participated in the new edition of the China Education Expo 2017, which includes three education fairs in this Asian country, whose main aim is guiding young Chinese people who are beginning their university studies. Therefore, this meeting acts as a reference point for students who are taking the equivalent period to the Spanish baccalaureate and who wish to go on with their studies with undergraduate and masters’ degrees abroad.

In order for the Chinese students to have a first-hand contact, and so that they could have access to the working methodology, a delegation of the European University of the Atlantic has introduced its academic offer at the university fairs that were held at Beijing, Guangzhou and Shangai.  Such team has explained in detail the official undergraduates, the classroom-based official master degree, the Spanish Language course and the Summer Courses of UNEATLANTICO, the main news for the 2017-2018 academic year and all the matters relating to the procedures for admission, scholarships and accommodation in Santander.

In this respect, the new European University of the Atlantic’s student residence, which has been recently inaugurated, caught the interest of those who approached the university’s stands in the China Education Expo 2017. As well, the UNEATLANTICO’s representatives could show the advanced state of the works that are about to finish the sports area, consisting of 7000 square meters, with different indoors and outdoors tracks.

The European University of the Atlantic, that is already counting on Chinese students, has developed an important dissemination task in this country. Apart from the business contacts, the univeristy’s chancellor, Rubén Calderón, visited the country last June. As a result of such initiatives, UNEATLANTICO establishes collaboration agreements with the Guangzhou International Economics College, the Taiyuan University of Science and Technology and the Heilongjiang International University.  Likewise, discussions are taking place with the Zhejiang University and the Guangdong Foreign Studies University.
